Post-Treatment Care for ACNE RESET

Immediate Post-Treatment Care

  1. Temporary redness, mild swelling, or a tingling sensation may occur after the procedure but typically subsides within 1 to 3 days.

  2. You may cleanse your face on the day of the procedure using a gentle cleanser. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the skin, and do not forcibly remove any flaking or peeling.

  3. Refrain from using harsh skincare products, including retinol, AHA/BHA, vitamin C, and exfoliating scrubs, for at least 3 to 5 days.

  4. Keep your skin well-hydrated to support healing and minimize irritation. Using a regenerative cream can further aid recovery.

  5. As your skin may be more sensitive, avoid activities that generate heat—such as alcohol consumption, smoking, saunas, hot baths, and strenuous exercise—for one week.

  6. If you have active acne, avoid picking, squeezing, or applying excessive pressure to the affected areas. It is also best to refrain from using acne patches for a certain period after the procedure.

Acne Management & Lifestyle Habits

  1. Hygiene: Reduce unnecessary contact with your face and change pillowcases and towels frequently to maintain cleanliness.

  2. Dietary Habits: Avoid greasy, spicy, and high-sugar foods, as they may aggravate acne. Maintain a well-balanced diet for overall skin health.

  3. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to support skin regeneration and keep your skin hydrated.

  4. Cosmetic Choices: Use non-comedogenic products to prevent clogged pores, and opt for lightweight or minimal makeup when possible.
