Post-Treatment Care for Dermal Filler

  1. Mild asymmetry or uneven muscle movement may occur temporarily due to the local anesthetic but should resolve within 3 to 5 hours.

  2. Bruising may develop within a day and typically subsides within a week. Vascular laser treatment can help accelerate healing.

  3. Swelling varies by individual and may peak 2 to 3 days post-treatment. To reduce swelling, apply a cold compress wrapped in a clean cloth at short intervals within the first 24 hours.

  4. Mild discomfort or pain may persist for up to a week. If needed, painkillers can help. In rare cases, temple fillers may cause temporary headaches or hematoma-related swelling lasting up to two weeks.

Precautions for Optimal Results

  1. Avoid applying pressure to the treated area for 1 to 2 weeks.

  2. Refrain from lymphatic drainage massages for at least one month, as they may affect the shape of the filler.

  3. To prevent filler displacement, avoid pressing or massaging the treated area. If you received nose or chin filler, avoid:
    - Resting your face on your hands
    -Wearing heavy glasses
    - Sleeping face-down for at least 48 hours.

  4. Avoid intense exercise (running, weightlifting, yoga, etc.) for at least 48 hours, as increased blood circulation may worsen swelling and bruising.

  5. Refrain from alcohol, smoking, saunas, and hot baths for one week, as these may increase the risk of inflammation.
