You may wash your face and apply makeup on the same day as the procedure.
Light showers are permitted; however, avoid alcohol consumption, smoking, sauna use, and hot baths for one week.
Apply recovery cream to the treated facial areas, and use sunscreen on all exposed areas to protect the skin during the healing phase.
Avoid shaving for 14 days following the procedure to allow treated hair follicles to shed naturally.
Do not wax or tan the treated area until your next laser session. If any hair is plucked, wait 2 to 3 weeks before your next treatment.
Temporary redness or swelling may occur but typically resolves within 1 to 2 days.
If folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles) develops, apply the prescribed ointment 2 to 3 times daily. To minimize the risk, avoid alcohol consumption during the healing period.
