Post-Treatment Care for Tattoo Removal

  1. Avoid getting the treated area wet or engaging in activities that cause sweating for 2 to 3 days, as this may increase the risk of secondary infection.

  2. Apply an antibiotic ointment to the treated area twice daily for approximately one week.

  3. Refrain from using saunas, taking hot baths, or swimming until all scabs have naturally fallen off.

  4. Do not pick or remove scabs, as doing so may reduce the risk of redness and scarring.

  5. Once the scabs have fallen off, apply sunscreen to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

  6. If you experience significant pain following laser treatment, you may take a pain reliever as needed.

  7. In cases of deep pigment removal, blisters may form. These may require dressing and further medical care—please contact the clinic if this occurs.

  8. Tattoo removal typically requires an average of 10 laser sessions spaced at four-week intervals. However, the number of sessions may vary depending on the tattoo’s depth, color, and size.

For any concerns or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.
